Audio input to Windows 10 not working

I run Echolink (an app) in my Windows 10 guest and I cannot get it to hear the built in microphone.
It plays sound just fine. Yet on another application, I cannot hear the sound output!
VirtualBox 5.2.18 r124319 (Qt5.6.3)
