Nope, you didn't what I asked you too. You went to the LOGS folder. You shouldn't have. The file has an extension of .VBOX. The file you're looking for is "/Users/seanpeters/VirtualBox VMs/win-7 Clone/win-7 Clone.vbox".

Try again, right-click on the VM in the VirtualBox Manager. Select "Show in Finder". ZIP the selected ".vbox" file and attach it to your response.

BTW, have you been upgrading this VM since it was Win2K, WinXP or something like that, and you got up to Win7 trying to get to Win10?

Change the following in your VM Settings:
  • System » Motherboard » Enable I/O APIC
  • System » Acceleration » Paravirtualization Interface » Default
  • System » Acceleration » Hardware Virtualization » Enable Nested Paging
  • Display » Screen » Video Memory » 256 MB
  • Display » Screen » Acceleration » Enable 2D Acceleration
  • Audio » Audio Controller » Intel HDA Audio

This appears to have worked! Win 10 has booted.

You're not even going to ask why it worked? ;)

Since you brought this VM all the way from WinXP, your settings were too inadequate for a Win10 system. Hardware has evolved and a modern OS has more requirements. What you could have done over the years, after each upgrade, would be to create a dummy VM with the OS where you were going, and compare the default settings and match them with your VM.

Glad you got it going, marking this as [Solved].
Or [CaseClosed]. :)
