Is there going to be a i386 version of Virtualbox for Ubuntu 18.04?

Post by sdurranc »

I know that Ubuntu 18.04 (Bionic) is only for 64 bit. I run Linux Mint 18.3 which is based on Ubuntu. Linux Mint 19 is coming out soon which has a 32 bit version. My computers are older, and are not 64 bit capable. Thank you in advance for your information.

Are you asking for support for an OS that's not out yet? You're not going to get a "yes" or a "no" until it comes out (and wait some time after that).

If they can't run 64-bits, and especially if they're not VT-x capable, I wouldn't be looking into what's coming in the future, but stay with what it works. You're stuck in the past and things might not work...
