Hi guys. I recently configured a virtual machine with kali linux as the VM. It is running really slow. I have disabled the 3D acceleration and allotted 2 GB of RAM to it even now it is like REAL slow. Can somebody please help me?
I am new to VirtualBox and my host machine has Ubuntu 16.04 running on it.

We're going to need a complete VBox.log, from a complete VM run:
- Gather the necessary information:
- Start the VM from cold-boot (not from a paused or saved state).
- Observe the error, i.e. do something in the guest that shows its slow reaction.
- Shutdown the VM (force close it if you have to).
- With the VM completely shut down (not paused or saved), right-click on the VM in the VirtualBox Manager and select "Show Log".
- Save only the first "VBox.log", ZIP it and attach it to your response. See the "Upload attachment" tab below the reply form.
Can you have a "top" at the same time on the host, and keep on monitoring the host's status?
