Extremely slow boot times for High Sierra .ova virtual machine
Posted: 8. Jun 2018, 22:02
Hello everyone,
We are running our host iMac with High Sierra (10.13.4) and are running a virtual machine through VirtualBox using a custom made .ova file.
When I first boot up the VM, it takes ~8 minutes to fully launch into the Mac login screen. I am not sure why it takes so long to fully boot up and I'm not sure where to start. Please let me know what information you need to help me diagnose why it takes so long for this VM to boot up.
Thanks!
