[Invalid] Can't agree to XP User License as F8 key is not recognised

Starting out with VB.
Not getting very far.
I have an old disc of XP but can't install it on my Mac host because I can't get past the agree to License page as the F8 key doesn't work, it just opens iTunes.
Holding down the left command key (mac host key) and pressing F8 doesn't work either.
The Escape key works fine but that just takes me out of set up.
Any advice appreciated.
Thank you.

Thank you for posting the resolution, but this was clearly a problem with your function keys mapping, which really depends on the computer maker and your preferences. Marking as [Invalid].
