[Solved] Windows XP Display in Virtualbox too small

Post by jjfossey »

I am running Windows XP SP2 on a Windows XP SP2 host on my laptop. I have installed the guest additions and I still can't get the Windows XP host to display more than 800x600 although the graphics card for my laptop displays at 1280x800. The Virtual Graphics Adapter is being used for the Windows XP host. Is there a way for the host OS to use the settings of my laptop graphics adapter? If not, does anyone have any suggestions on how to correct this? Thanks in advance.
