See attachment for the small graphical corruption that occurs in Windows 10 1803 on VB 5.2.8 - Host: Windows 7 x64 SP1 - AMD 7950 - Intel i7

Anyone else see this type of graphics corruption?

See the red box...

Also, this does not occur unless I am using the VirtualBox WDDM driver.

Yes, corruption on some graphic elements has been reported in the past. Mainly it gets resolved by updating the host's GPU drivers, or waiting for new GPU drivers...

Eh... You don't have an option of not using the WDDM drivers in a Win10 guest, so, I'm not sure what you're referring to here...

Windows 10 does have a default video driver - but limits the resolution to fixed values from EDID. I am not familiar with how VBox implements the WDDM driver - if it is with OpenGL - I remember seeing artifacts when the z-order is not set correctly...

We're going to need a complete VBox.log, from a complete VM run:
  • Gathering the necessary information:
    1. Start the VM from cold-boot (not from a paused or saved state).
    2. Observe the error, i.e. see the corrupted graphics.
    3. Shutdown the VM (force close it if you have to).
  • With the VM completely shut down (not paused or saved), right-click on the VM in the VirtualBox Manager and select "Show Log".
  • Save only the first "VBox.log", ZIP it and attach it to your response. See the "Upload attachment" tab below the reply form.

Update: 6.0.4 with new VboxSVGA driver seems to have fixed this issue.
