Windows 10 Pro X64 Running on a Windows 10 Pro X64 Host
VB: 5.2.10
There are two ways that Microsoft says to do a safe boot:
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/hel ... -safe-mode
1. Use Settings
2. From the sign-in screen
Restart your PC. When you get to the sign-in screen, hold the Shift key down while you select Power
>Restart
Let use say that you have trouble booting a Windows 10 VM. Therefore option (1) is out as you cannot get to the settings screen.
So how do you simulate option 2 (which assumes you can get to the sign-in screen?
Edit: I misread the instructions. I thought you had to press a power button not just click on the restart option at the bottom right portion of the screen

I'm not sure I see what makes this a VirtualBox question. The sign in screen is a configurable feature of Windows, not of VirtualBox.
