IP not coming in Ubuntu 16.04 guest on linux host

When the vm is booted ip is not coming but if I use te command dhclient ip is assigned but again goes on reboot.
Most probably because you don't have DHCP enabled in your Ubuntu VM to automatically start at boot. Check if there is an option for your network in your Ubuntu to "Connect automatically", or something like that.
This is not a VirtualBox problem, this is a problem with your Ubuntu configuration. Treat the problem as an Ubuntu problem, not a VirtualBox problem.
