[Solved] Unable to resize screen

Hello! Thanks in advanced for your help.

I don't seem to be able to resize my VMs screen size. Any ideas?
I'm unable to post a screen shot yet... however I am experiencing; the resize options are all greyed out. As well as "Auto-resize Guest Display" is checked and disabled... I would assume I want to not have this checked?
In the settings I've toggled the "Enable 3D Acceleration" as seen in another thread. I've also added video memory and base memory.

Base Memory: 9306 MB
3 CPUs
Video Memory: 256 MB

I've also attached the Vbox.log.1

Thanks!

You need to install the Guest Additions in your guest. User Manual, ch. 4. Guest Additions. You should also have a searchable PDF included with your installation (Help ยป Contents). Take advantage of that fact, and use it to search the PDF for the terms that interest you.

Thank you, this did the trick.

I don't recall having to do this in previous uses of VitualBox so I assumed it was more of a bug then a missing step/feature on my part.

Thanks again,

No, you always had to do that with Windows guests. Anyways, glad you got it going...
Marking as [Solved].
