Re: Dedicated Server with Windows running
Is there a VirtualBox related question in there, or am I missing something?

Re: Dedicated Server with Windows running
ok .. How do I configure my virtualbox to use the dedicated IP on my VM.
I dont really get the different network types. I tried NAT and the moment I connect my windows I lose connection to the whole server
and bridged doesnt work either.
VBoxManage modifyvm $VM --nic1 nat
VBoxManage modifyvm $VM --natsettings1 1500,1024,1024,1024,1024
didnt work for me

Please read the following: User Manual, ch. 6.2. Introduction to networking modes including the Overview table, which shows quickly what kind of connection is required to achieve what you want. And remember, you can always have more than one network card in your guest to cover multiple scenarios.
