Since this ticket hasn't been taken care of yet, I read that it is possible to use host interface. I want to run two virtualboxes both windows xp and I'm trying to create a virtual network adapter and use it in host interface networking with or without creating a bridge, The post is way at the bottom on how to do this
http://www.virtualbox.org/ticket/1046
I'm a newb at networking via vbox so a step by step would be execellent and appreciated, I am using Ubuntu 8.04 AMD64, my regular Internet connection is via eth0 (ip via dhcp). If someone can please help me set this up.
In the VirtualBox help there is a clear and detailed description of how a virtual network adapter could be added and how to use it in host interface networking but I get errors
and I've spent weeks on repairing and months crashing.
Does anyone know when this will be updated?
