[Solved] User does not exist?

[Evan.ova]

I’m attempting to use the command
"adduser Evan.ova virtualboxusers"
however, it keeps telling me
"adduser: The user `Evan.ova' does not exist."
As far as i know... Evan.ova is my vbox user name, am i using the wrong user name, do I have to use my Oracle email? any suggestions?

There is no such thing as a "VBox user name".

If you are talking about joining yourself to a group and don't know how then (a) that is a Linux support question, (b) use your Linux user name - unless you're saying that you log into your Linux PC using the name "Evan.ova"?
