Specific IDE HD settings?

Post by SupaRice »

I'm running virtualbox 1.6.2 OSE on Ubuntu 8.04, and I'm trying to follow this guide:

http://www.sadikhov.com/forum/lofiversi ... 02676.html

However, it was written for VMWare server. Is there a way to specify the following in Virtualbox?
just make sure you use 120 GB IDE 0:0 hard disk and
CDROM IDE 0:1

From what I understand, all they mean is that the HDD is the first device and the cdrom the second. This is default in VB. The first two hard disks are on the primairy IDE controller and the cdrom is on the second IDE controller. Just set up your VM and enjoy it.
