Windows 10 Host / Mac OS X High Sierra Guest / USB Audio

sorry for dumb me and this has most likely been covered in the past ;
but I'd like to get my ZOOM G2 Nu working on my Mac OS X High Sierra (Guest) .
When I connect this USB-Audio Device to the Guest OS, ZOOM's EDIT / Share - application bumps up .
so it's somehow detected by the OS, but there's not a trace of it in the Audio / MIDI - Setup util ... and neither do REAPER or Logic Pro see the device . The ZOOM has its' latest firmware upgraded ... and it works in Windows 10 so I know it's not damaged or something like that .
