Graphics scaling within Windows?

Hi,
This may be a simple one, or may be impossible - either way I'm hoping for a quick answer!
I run a Windows 10 guest at 1920 x 1200 screen resolution (the native resolution of my physical monitor), but when I run a program that opens it's own screen at a lower resolution (640 x 480 for example), the screen doesn't 'scale' to fit the entire monitor (as it does on a 'real' Windows 10 PC), rather the screen is a small 'crop' of the full 1920 x 1200 Windows screen.
Is there an option in VirtualBox to allow full-screen scaling of resolutions that are lower that the actual Guest screen resolution?
I run the guest in full-screen mode, if that has any bearing on the solution...
Cheers,
Mike.
