boot medium

Post by Jens4711 »

Hi

I have a new HP-Computer. When I bought it there was only windows vista on it. Now I installed the newest Ubuntu 8.01 on it and the virtual Box. Now I thought I can run Ubuntu then start the virtual box and then boot win visat in the box. everything looks fine but I always get the message:

"FATAL: Could not read from the boot medium! System halted."

Any suggestions. Do you need any other Information? (How do I get that information under Linux?)

Thanks.

You could follow the Forum Posting Guide first and update your post. As it's now, all you say is "I installed a new OS and now I can't start a VM". With that much info, we can't even see in our crystal boll what your settings are, let alone know how to solve your problem.
