Cannot use the keyboard on a new VM

This is the first time I've used a virtual machine but, after three days of this that and the other thing going wrong I finally got it installed and started up. Now I am trying to get through all of the initial set up steps. Somehow I was finally able to get past the Wi-Fi set up screen but, now I am stuck on the screen that asks what language which I was able to change using the arrow keys on my keyboard but I can not click the arrow to continue further. What am I missing?

Discuss the 5.2.8 release", this doesn't sound like a regression. It just happened that the 5.2.8 thread was the first one on the list, and you simply replied to that one, no?
You didn't mention Host, VirtualBox or Guest versions. And FYI, Windows 10 is *not* a version, it's a "family" of OSes. So, be specific with the builds, revisions, versions.

Is that repeatable? You can definitely try it without the danger of losing anything...
