Hi.
My system: Host Ubuntu 16.04 LTS on Sony Vio machine with 64 bit processor.
I have just installed the VB, and find that it only gives options for 32 bit guests. I have seen elsewhere the advice that I should enable the 'Intel virtualization' in the Boot. However, when I break into the Boot, I find it is a very simple one with options to configure basic parameters such as whether to Boot from external devices.
My intention is to install another Ubuntu as guest, however, the same problem applies even if I wanted to guest a Windows.
I'll appreciate any help. Thanks.
Absence of any 64 bit guest options on my VirtualBox

FAQ: I have a 64bit host, but can't install 64bit guests.
The fact that you can't find the BIOS option doesn't change the requirements or the advice. You should contact your PC manufacturer or manual to find out if and where the VT-x or AMD-v option is.
