stop log files

Is there a way for me to stop Vbox from creating log files in my /home/user directory every time I start a Virtual Machine? Its really a pain having to go and manually clear them out every time I use Vbox. Would even help if I could tell it what directory to use that way I can make a hidden folder and have it dump all the logs files it wants in there.
