[Solved] Virtual Box freeze by creat an machine

after install VirtualBox -software (Version 5.0.40_Ubuntu r115130) under Linux Mint 18.3 I tryet to create a virtal machine with any different OS (Linux; Wiindows; 32bit; 64bit). By all my experiments I only can crate the machine but when I start this machine end try to install the OS (via CD) the CD will be adressed (I heared two or tree sounds) then is the compleed Computer freezed. Only a newstart vie power of key is possible. I have no idea where is my fault.

It looks like you're using the distro's fork version of VirtualBox. You can either ask in their forums for help, or completely remove/uninstall/delete/purge their version and install the official version from the
Downloads section of VirtualBox.
If that doesn't work you should try the latest
test builds, especially with all the Spectre/Meltdown patches coming in from all sides.
Moving to "Linux Hosts" from "Using VirtualBox".

Thank You. This was the right solution. The box is jet function able.
