No internet since upgrading router - Kubuntu

My setup was working perfectly, until they finally got cable modems out in my rural area.
As soon as I got rid of the DSL router and installed the cable router (Archer AC1750), I have no network connection in my Kubuntu client (Windows 10 host).

I've tried everything I can think of as far as changing settings on the host, client, and router. I've completely uninstalled and reinstalled VirtualBox twice to force it to reinstall the network adapters. Still nothing. If I try to ping anything, I get "connect: Network is unreachable"

Help?

The following steps might tell us what's going on: 
  • ping <DefaultGateway>    <-- tests your connectivity
ping 8.8.8.8             <-- tests outgoing connectivity
ping google.com          <-- tests name resolution
On top of that, from your host, post the output: 
  • ipconfig /all
From your guest, post the output: 
  • ifconfig -a

Something is not right in your setup. Your VirtualBox HostOnly adapter doesn't look like the defaults. It seems that you've modified it to fit into your LAN address scheme. Why? The HostOnly should be a clear sign for what to not do...

If you've modified/deviated from the defaults, then you'll need to trace back to what you did, and undo it.

Okay, I completely uninstalled and reinstalled VirtualBox. I made sure the VB Host Only adapter was gone from network settings when I uninstalled, rebooted, installed VB 5.2.6
Still no internet access in the guest. The output from the Kubuntu guest is the same as before.
