Creating group 'vboxusers'. VM users must be member of that group!

vboxdrv.sh: failed: Look at /var/log/vbox-install.log to find out what went wrong.

There were problems setting up VirtualBox. To re-start the set-up process, run
  /sbin/vboxconfig
as root.
  Verifying : VirtualBox-5.2-5.2.6_120293_fedora26-1.x86_64 1/1

And here is what is written in /var/log/vbox-install.log

Code: Select all

cat /var/log/vbox-install.log

VirtualBox 5.2.7 r120528 installer, built 2018-01-26T13:45:27Z.

Testing system setup...
/tmp/vbox.0/Makefile.include.header:99: *** The variable KERN_DIR must be a kernel build folder and end with /build without a trailing slash, or KERN_VER must be set. Stop.
Also, below is some information that I tried to collect for my system if it helps.

Code: Select all

/usr/lib/virtualbox/vboxdrv.sh setup
vboxdrv.sh: Stopping VirtualBox services.
vboxdrv.sh: Building VirtualBox kernel modules.
vboxdrv.sh: failed: Look at /var/log/vbox-install.log to find out what went wrong.
