Virtual 5.1.30_Ubuntu r118389 crashes and freezes whenever is executed on Windows 7 guest on an Ubuntu 17.10 Host.

VBoxGuestAdditions_5.1.30 is installed alongside the correct version of extensions but the Windows 7 guest keeps crashing. I have reinstalled VirtualBox only to keep getting the same problem.

How can I resolve this issue?

That's the Ubuntu fork and as a fork, it's not supported here. However, you went on to say:

So the question is: how come you're having a problem again with 5.1.30_Ubuntu r118389? If you do, uninstall/delete/purge it and install the official one from the VirtualBox site. If that doesn't work you should try the latest test builds, especially with all the Spectre/Meltdown patches coming in from all sides.

Plus, I don't see any logs (ZIPPED) attached. No log? No help...
