Window VM unable to detact Epson scanner

Hi all,
Host - Ubuntu 16.04 desktop
VM - Windows 8.1_01 64bit
VirtualBox Version 5.2.2 r119230 (Qt5.6.1)
Epson Perfection 3490 Photo Scanner
Settings -> USB
(check) USB 2.0 (EHCL) Controller
USB Device Filters
(check) EPSON Scanner [0110]
USB Filter Details
software:
epson19104
epson13829
EPSON Scan
have been installed.
Epson Scan cannot start
The scanner works on Host as well as Ubuntu 16.04 VM by running Simple Scan. Please advise how to fix the problem. Thanks in advance.
