i don't know much at all about computers and i got a new MacBook

can i use virtual box to run a windows program on my MacBook air? i currently have high sierra installed on my mac-
i just have one program that i would like to download that is a windows program-

also i have no idea how to use virtual box or how to put the i want to run program into virtual box- could someone help or link a tutorial?
