Display settings

Hi all,
on a new Lenovo Thinkpad Yoga 370 I have installed a vbox
under Windows 10. Inside the virtual box I run a Debian.
In order to so I had to make a change in the BIOS.
Guest tools are installed. So in the menu of the virtual
box the Button for automatic adjustment for guest display
is no longer greyed.
Non-the-less the display of the debian, i.e. the vbox,
is painful for the eyes after a while.
The monitor resolution is 1920 x 1080 under Windows
as well as in the vbox setings.
Can you help me how to configure the dnisplay ?
Any hints, info would be great
debian / Xserver ?
Thanks in advance!
Best,
Thorwald
