Remove installation from source.

Post by Rolcol »

I compiled VirtualBox from source (verison 1.6.2) and I'd like to remove it. I'm still new to compiling and I don't have a clue as to how to remove it since it uses kbuild rather than make. Help would be appreciated.

What are you build commands?

If only "make", its enough to delete the VBOX-Sourcedir.

Rolcol, in this case I wouldn't start with a package as complex as VirtualBox. The OSE version really assumes that you are an experienced developer. Stick to the PUEL editing that you can get from the VirtualBox downloads link or see if your Linux distributor maintains a virtualbox-ose package.
