Oh, no. You misunderstood. You are going to try it out, not me...

Sorry but do not you have virtualbox installed too? How do you behave? What version do you have?

Yes, I do. Several versions. But I don't have the problem, you do. And I already asked you:
socratis wrote:Could you verify it? It's easy enough to downgrade and make sure that this is something that used to work. If you can find the version that this behavior changed, it could help.
I'm not going to do your homework for you.

And before you get confused; I'm a user, you're a user. I'm not technical support, you're not a customer. If you want to say that something broke, you should come up with some evidence. For example, "working in 5.1.24, broke in 5.1.26". Or, "working in all 5.1.x series, broke in all 5.2.x series".

Sorry but I did not claim anything, I demand it. Probably in translating automatically some expression can be misunderstood or not understood. The question was it to you that the machines in version 5.2.xx are closed automatically without your explicit consent :?: Do you have the same behavior if you have the 5.1.xx version :?:
To me in version 5.1.xx asks if I want to close the VM. Into 5.2.xx version automatically starts saving with the risks involved. Another question from user to user: is there any option to adjust this situation :?:
How do you report this problem to technical support :?:
Bye

So, how did this happen exactly after a VirtualBox upgrade? An upgrade does not affect the VM configuration. If it does, it's a bug. Had you set these parameters/extradata before? I always assumed that you had... Mea culpa.

I have not made any changes.
Will the bug be fixed in future versions :?: Can you report it :?:
What did you assume I had done :?:
Bye.
