You would need to ask the FreeBSD people, they maintain their own Guest Additions (GAs). It looks like their version of GAs supports almost everything, but not shared folders. See "FreeBSD as a Guest on VirtualBox" from the FreeBSD documentation. You'll have to use the more traditional, reliable network shares.

PS. Never ask for ETA, it's an unknown word in a developer's world. It will be done when it will be done. No sooner, no later.
