VB 1.6.4 crashes host OS after standby with amd-v enabled

Post by day4skiing »

While using VB 1.6.2 and 1.6.4 and having AMD-V enabled, when Vista 32 goes into standby mode. When the system is brought out of standby mode the system never displays anything on the screen but starts the boot sequence from the bios:

Config:
HP Pavilion 2718us: Turion X2 TL-62, 3GB ram, Vista32
Guest: XP SP3

Has anybody else seen this bug?

I can't say I've ever seen a computer that comes out of standby properly ever, with or without VB... :)

Forgot to mention, if I turn off AMD-V support it works just fine when using standby mode.
