[Solved] E_Fail 0x80004005

Hi

i get the following error:

Für die virtuelle Maschine VB6 2 konnte keine neue Sitzung eröffnet werden.

The VM session was closed before any attempt to power it on.

i didnt change anything, the last time i used vm i closed the vm with the cross and selected "save the sate" (or so...)

i run Win10 prof. 64bit, the guest is a Win XP
vbox is 5.1.22-117224-win. i also tried 5.1.22-115126 with the same error

any clues?

Please provide a VM log file. With the VM fully shut down, right click it in GUI. Select "Show Log" and save "VBox.log" (ONLY) to a zip file. Attach the zip here.

Include the "VBoxHardening.log" file as well.

WE DO NOT NEED THE OTHER LOG FILES.

It looks like the host has changed in important ways since the state was saved, and saved states are not portable. Or perhaps the saved state file has been corrupted. Either way you need to right click the VM and choose "Discard Saved State..." (or the German equivalent of course).
