Hi all,

Host - Ubuntu 16.04
VM - Ubuntu 16.04 desktop

Please advise the easy way to migrate a VM to a PC?

On googling I found many suggestions, following being an example;

There's no trick to it. Image one system, install image on another. Your choice of imaging software.

Some imaging apps support e.g. VHD directly, hence converting the VM disk to VHD would be a useful first step. Otherwise you image the VM from inside, writing to a USB stick or network folder. In any case you'll need a boot CD containing the imaging software (VirtualBox VMs can't boot from a USB stick).
