[Solved] Shared folder not working on CentOS and RHEL guests

First off, a disclaimer... I'm Linux n00b, so apologies if my questions sound stupid.
I'm currently running VBox 5.1.24 on Windows 10. I have set up several VM's, mostly Windows 2012R2, and a couple of Linux (a CentOS 6.6, and RHEL 6.4). Shared folder works perfectly on Windows guests, but not on the Linux guests. I've installed the guest additions. I also chose "auto mount" option. Help please?
