I have a Mac OS(10.12.6 ) host and windows 10 pro guest VM(via virtualbox 5.1.26). After install the Oracle_VM_VirtualBox_Extension_Pack-5.1.0_RC1, i can turn on the usb2.0 port. Unfortunately, when i restart the windows, the VM crashed. Below is the error message.

You have NOT installed the matching Extension Pack for Version 5.1.26

That would appear to be an ordinary error message, not a crash.

As to the cause, your description is either badly worded or it's what erdeslawe said.
