Hi all,

I have a Dell XPS 15 with skylake CPU which has been giving me a few issues, so I usually update to the latest kernel. I've been trying 4.12.x and they all give issues:
Kernel driver not installed (rc=-1908)

The VirtualBox Linux kernel driver (vboxdrv) is either not loaded or there is a permission problem with / dev / vboxdrv. Please reinstall the kernel module by executing

'/ sbin / vboxconfig'

as root.

where: suplibOsInit what: 3 VERR_VM_DRIVER_NOT_INSTALLED (-1908) - The support driver is not installed. On linux, open returned ENOENT.
When I run / sbin / vboxconfig, I get this:

pastebin . com/ Eg2j9CNs -- I can't post urls yet it warns me

Could someone give me some hints? I don't find any solutions online. Or will I have to wait till new version of vbox?
Mark

You didn't mention your VirtualBox version, but 5.1.24 just came out and it fixes quite a few things for kernel 4.12.x. Give it a shot...
