Just these two values or nothing in general?

6 digits? That would indeed be a problem. People generally get by with 5.
Trying testing port numbers 49151 and 49152. See if it'll let you use both.

Re: Cannot enter port number greater than 4
No and I just realized I misstated, so sorry , I can not enter anything greater than 4. ex. 3000
Re: Cannot enter port number greater than 6
Thanks for the replies. I tried this when setting up Ubuntu 17.04 and could not enter 5 digits. I tried this on version 17.04 and it worked perfectly. I know this makes no sense. Again thank you.

Re: Cannot enter port number greater than 6
You're right. I can't make sense of that. Are you aware that you gave the same version for the working and non-working Ubuntus?dons1955 wrote:I tried this when setting up Ubuntu 17.04 and could not enter 5 digits. I tried this on version 17.04 and it worked perfectly. I know this makes no sense.
Also, please give an explicit example: a screenshot showing the dialog, draw an arrow or otherwise indicate "the box", and tell me what precise number you intended to enter there? In fact it would be nice to know your plans for the entire row.
