Re: Runtime Error
This usually indicates a corrupt or missing *.vbox file ( guest configuration file ). Look in the above location and see if the file exists and has proper information in it. You also need to see if there is an *.vbox-temp, or *.vbox-prev file. You can usually replace the missing or corrupt *.vbox file with one of those. Be sure you have a good back up to keep from further damaging the guest.'C:\Users\SASI\VirutalBox VMs\ECC6\ECC6.vbox' for reading: -102(File not found)
Re: Runtime Error

Re: Runtime Error
All you have to do is rename a file, it is not hard. If the ".vbox-tmp" file exists then rename that to ".vbox". Otherwise rename the ".vbox-prev" file.

Re: Runtime Error
Do you see in Explorer the "ECC8.vbox" file? Under the "Type" column it says "VBOX-TMP"?
Well, in reality that file is named "ECC8.vbox-tmp". For some reason Explorer hides that fact. BAD EXPLORER! You have to change Explorer's preferences to "Show All Extensions", or "Hide Extensions", or something similar, and then rename that file from "ECC8.vbox-tmp" to "ECC8.vbox".

Re: Runtime Error
In "Folder options" find and uncheck the "Hide extensions for known file types" option.socratis wrote:You have to change Explorer's preferences to "Show All Extensions", or "Hide Extensions", or something similar
The location of "Folder options" varies with Windows versions, but on Win7 hosts it's very easy to find. See that "OrganizeV" button on the left of the explorer tool bar? Click that and choose "Folder and search options" from the menu. Select the "View tab" on the dialog. Uncheck "Hide extensions for known file types". Click the "Apply" button.

Re: Runtime Error
That isn't an Error. It's simply providing information about the limitations of the Guest Operating System.
