Did you shutdown the VM first?

Please do not open tickets for any configuration/error that you might have. The forums is the first line of defense. More than 95% of the issues are resolved over here, which keeps the developers focusing on the bug fixes and enhancements, and there is no need for another ticket to keep track of. For example, yours is most probably not a bug and someone from the developers has to deal with it and close it as "Invalid".

I installed the latest driver nvidia.

The guest machine is shutdown and button 2d acceleration always grayed.

  • That is NOT the information Perryg asked you for.
  • What's your guest?
  • Please post a VBox.log compressed. With the VM shutdown completely, right-click on the VM in the VirtualBox Manager, Show Log, save the first VBox.log ONLY, ZIP it and attach it to your response.

If you don't post the guests log we can not help you. All of this depends on a lot of things and if you do not want to post the log we have no idea what to tell you.

It's checkbox "Acceleration 2d" into Virtualbox manager which is grayed.
I join the log.

A couple of questions.
  • Is this guest really a 64-bit version of Windows XP, they are really rare?
  • Did you install this yourself or did you get this from someone esle? Reason I ask is you have shared folders that do not exist and need to be removed.
  • Lastly you say the 2D in the guest settings is greyed out and you can not change this setting. Did you try to change it while the guest was fully shut down and not running or in a saved state?
