Remote USB not working with VBoxHeadless

Hi,

I installed a Windows XP guest in a Debian host (namely "foo") with physical USB 1.0 ports only and made it run with VBoxHeadless. I setup a blank USB filter to be accessed from "Any" (i.e. both remote and local ports).

I can succesfully access this guest from a remote Linux host (namely "bar") with USB 2.0 ports using rdesktop, but whenever I plug a pendrive in "bar" I cannot make it appear in the guest rdesktop window.

Pendrives are succesfully recognised by the guest when plugged at "foo".

Two questions:

1) Any idea about what can be going wrong?

2) It is possible for VirtualBox to fully use the remote host's USB 2.0 ports even when the local ports are 1.0?

Thanks a lot
Antonio
