Windows 7 performance on 2016 Macbook pro

Post by pioterowy »

Hi, everyone. I couldn't find a similar thread so I am posting a new topic. I have recently bought the basic 2016 Macbook pro without the touchbar. I used to run Windows 7 on a mid-2012 Macbook Air with 4 gigs of RAM and it worked really well. I installed Win 7 on my new laptop over the weekend but it just doesn't run as smoothly as on the older laptop. I am running it with 4 gigs of RAM, 2 cores, 3d acceleration enabled, etc. but the graphics is pretty laggy. I also tried different configurations but it didn't help. I mostly use Windows for file editing, etc. Any idea what might be wrong? Thanks for your help, guys!

Dear Socratis, thanks for your help. Am I reading it right or did they not fix the problem? I guess I will have to switch to some different software.
