Silly question

Post by rickaustinson »

Hi folks,

Pardon me for not really knowing how to word this... years ago while experimenting with virtual box, I found a mode that let me have the task bar for my windows VM sit on top of the taskbar from my actual workstation, or drag it anywhere on my desktop. This would also let me have the applications from the VM in free-floating windows just like if they were running on my physical machine. I have no idea what this mode was called, but I now cannot seem to find it.

Does anyone know what I'm talking about?

Thanks,
RD

User Manual, ch. 4.6. Seamless windows.
Do NOT send me Personal Messages (PMs) for troubleshooting, they are simply deleted.

You're welcome Todd N. Here's another tip: I always keep a tab open in my browser https://www.virtualbox.org/manual/
