Hi
I am running VB 5.1.20 on a W10 x64 host and with a XP 32 Guest

I am trying to install (from a CD) a program from 2001, the install starts but
then this message comes up

"A debugger has been detected, please unload"

I have been through the help pages and Google but cannot find a resolution.

How would I fix this?

Any advice appreciated.

I'm afraid you'll have to ask the authors of the program concerned, since I don't believe that's a VirtualBox message. I would suspect that it may be detecting a VM, though 2001 is very early for that (and it thinks its a debugger, it doesn't know VMs).

Perhaps you'd have better luck imaging a hard disk on which its already been installed.
