Version of Virtual Box for Mint 17 - 18

Hello,
Newbie here. Which version of Virtual Box is best suited for Mint 17 and 18? I have downloaded VirtualBox-5.1_5.1.20-114628-Ubuntu-yakkety_amd64.deb. It runs on the latest Ubuntu. Is this the correct one or should I choose another? Also have the user manual to help with installation.
