Xubuntu running Windows 10 VM disrupts Hamachi client

Hi,
I am using my Xubuntu computer, version 16.04 to run a Windows 10 VM over a Hamachi connection. The issue is that whenever I open virtual box, Hamachi crashes and is no longer able to work until the Windows VM is closed down, as this is over a remote connection this causes a problem as I have to come into the office and restart the computer. I notice that whenever VirtualBox opens the route table changes and when it is closed it returns back to normal, I know the issue is to do with the network configuration but I am not sure of the correct way to resolve this. I have tried disabling and enabling all the adapters in VirtualBox and also bridging the ham0 adapter to the VM, but to no avail.
I have three interfaces running on the host machine, en0, ham0 and wlan0, internet access comes from the wlan0, a local network is over en0 and ham0 gives me remote access to the computer.
If anyone could help out, I would be appreciate it greatly !
