Dual Monitor stopped working

After installing a new AMD RX 470 graphics card and driver on my Ubuntu 16.04 host, I can no longer run my windows 10 guest in dual monitor mode with 3D acceleration enabled. instant crash after I login to windows. I run 5.1.18 r114002 (Qt5.5.1) with current guest additions. I have a work around for the moment but it isn't great.
