External Windows keyboard not functioning properly

I'm running Windows 10 via VirtualBox on a Mac, however I've connected an external Windows keyboard as it makes using Excel much easier in Windows (much of the work I do is on Excel).

Since I updated Windows, however, it would seem to me that Windows has stopped recognising the keyboard as a Windows keyboard, and I can't figure out how to correct it. For example, you need to hold Ctrl+Windows+Del to replicate Ctrl+Alt+Delete, and Windows+arrow keys does nothing, rather than auto-resizing windows. Is there an easy way to fix this?
