I have installed Windows Server 2012 in vbox. My host OS is MAC 10.11.6 and I figured out how to get to the Advance Boot Options, however I am trying to select Directory Services Repair Mode. The screen says to press enter on the keyboard, however it starts to boot normally when I do. I have tried different combinations and nothing works so far. Has anyone experienced this issue.
Thank you,

How exactly did you do that?sarareynozo@Mac.com wrote:I figured out how to get to the Advance Boot Options
How do you know it doesn't boot in the Directory Services Repair Mode? Excuse my ignorance, but are you supposed to see a different screen of sorts? Maybe it simply means that something is getting enabled/running in the background?sarareynozo@Mac.com wrote:it starts to boot normally when I do

I change the preferences for the keyboard, so I was able to use F8. May issue is once I select Directory Services Repoair Mode, I am suppose to view another screen and be able to recover a Organizational Unit that I deleted. However it is booting up as normal and thats not what is is suppose to do.

This is not a VirtualBox issue I'm afraid. As far as VirtualBox is concerned, everything is working. Just because the problem is in a OS that runs inside VirtualBox, does not make it a VirtualBox problem. Try to deal with it like the problem was happening in a physical computer.
