Post the guests log file ( as an attachment ). Right click on the guest in the Main Manager then click show log. Save and post as an attachment. Compress if it is too large to post.

On top of Perryg's post, I'd like to see the following points addressed please:

• Are you a member of the 'vboxusers' group? If not, add yourself with the following command and then reboot:
  • sudo usermod -a -G vboxusers <your_username>
• With the USB device(s) plugged in and the VM not running, post the output of the following commands:
  • id
    VBoxManage -version
    VBoxManage list usbhost
    VBoxManage list usbfilters
    VBoxManage list extpacks
    VBoxManage showvminfo "<VMName>"
Do NOT send me Personal Messages (PMs) for troubleshooting, they are simply deleted.
Do NOT reply with the "QUOTE" button, please use the "POST REPLY", at the bottom of the form.
If you obfuscate any information requested, I will obfuscate my response. These are virtual UUIDs, not real ones.
